Insgesamt bedecken sie eine Fl\u00e4che von 155.000 Hektar und sind bekannt f\u00fcr ihre wundersch\u00f6nen Atolle und au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches Unterwasserleben.<\/p>\n<p>In Wayag werden Sie die unber\u00fchrten Str\u00e4nde und einzigartigen Kalksteininslen, die an aus dem Meer ragende Pilze erinnern, finden.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201e\u00dcppiger Bewuchs klammerte sich an den noch so steilsten Abhang der thronenden Inseln. Die fast vertikalen W\u00e4nde hingen \u00fcber dem Meer, das die rasiermesserscharfe Wabenstruktur des erodierenden Gesteins untergraben hat. Es schien als ob diese spektakul\u00e4ren, projektil-f\u00f6rmigen Inseln aus der Bucht hervorgebrochen sind und nun wie im Standbild \u00fcber der Wasseroberfl\u00e4che schweben.\u201c<\/em> Dies schrieb Shawn Heinrichs, der Emmy-Award-gekr\u00f6nte Filmemacher, Fotograf, Taucher und Meeressch\u00fctzer \u00fcber Wayag.<\/p>\n<p>Ein m\u00e4rchenhaftes Panaroma nimmt jeden Besucher mit seinen kristallklaren Wassern und der Vielfalt von Meeres-Flora und -Fauna ein. Dieser spezielle Ort erstaunt Besucher nicht nur mit einem artenreichen Unterwasser-Schauspiel, sondern auch mit der malerischen Sch\u00f6nheit der Inslen, w\u00e4hrend Sie die Aussichtspunkte besteigen und einen der atemberaubendsten Anblicke Raja Ampats auf sich wirken lassen.<\/p>\n<p>Unser Wayag Ausflug beginnt fr\u00fch am Morgen, als wir uns per Boot Richtung Norden aufmachen, zu unserem ersten Tauchplatz Eagle Rock, Adler-Felsen, benannt nach den majest\u00e4tischen V\u00f6geln die \u00fcber den kleinen Felsinseln kreisen. Unterwasser k\u00f6nne Taucher und Schnorchler gleicherma\u00dfen Begegnungen mit Wobbegong Haien, S\u00fc\u00dflippen, Sardinen, Barracudas, Thunfischen, B\u00fcffelkopfpapagaienfischen, Riffhaien und dem ein oder anderen Mantarochen machen.<\/p>\n<p>Nach dem ersten Tauchgang bzw. Schnorcheln, nimmt unser Boot wieder Fahrt auf, weiter Richtung Norden, den \u00c4quator \u00fcberquerend, bis wir Wayag\u2019s malerische Pilzinsel-Landschaft erreichen. Hier kurven wir langsam und genie\u00dfen die Landschaft und machen eine Kaffeepause an einem atemberaubenden Strand. Dann, nach kurzer Fahrt mit dem Boot, erreichen wir den Platz wo wir den Aussichtspunkt zu besteigen. Es ist ein anspruchsvoller Aufstieg an steilen Kalksteinfelsen, der sich lohnt: bei Erreichen des Gipfels k\u00f6nnen Sie die magischen 360 Grad Wayags erfassen. Diese au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Aussicht ist ein Muss den Bilder und Worte nicht beschreiben k\u00f6nnen.<br \/>\n(Bitte beachten Sie dass wir diesen Aufstieg nicht f\u00fcr kleine Kinder und Menschen mit eingeschr\u00e4nkter Mobilit\u00e4t empfehlen.)<\/p>\n<p>Das verdiente Mittagsessen folgt an einem Strand nahe der Wayag Ranger Station. Wayag ist eine von Raja Ampats gesch\u00fctzten Meereszonen und als solches mit Rangern bemannt, deren Aufgabe es ist die Gegend zu patrullieren und nach illegaler Fischerei und unerw\u00fcnschtem Verhalten Ausschau zu halten. Jeder Mann der D\u00f6rfer Salio und Selpepe dient f\u00fcr jeweils zwei Wochen pro Jahr als Ranger, was ein bemerkenswertes Zeugnis f\u00fcr die unglaubliche Entschlossenheit der Gemeinden ist, die umwerfenden Reicht\u00fcmer der Natur dieser Gegend zu erhalten.<\/p>\n<p>Eines der vielen Highlights dieses Ausflugs findet sich im Flachwasser direkt vor der Ranger Station: Schwarzspitzenriffhaie die in Ufern\u00e4he kreisen. Stehen Sie knietief im Wasser und werfen einen Blick auf die Riffhaie die sich gar nicht von Ihnen st\u00f6ren lassen.<\/p>\n<p>Nach dem Mittagessen und etwas Ruhe, machen wir uns zu unserem zweiten Tauchplatz auf, dem Black Rock. Weichkorallen erbl\u00fchen in einer Farbenvielfalt von den felsigen Ausbuchtungen, wobei Raja Ampats ganze Artenvielfalt lebhaft darbietet.<\/p>\n<p>Nach diesem Tauchgang geht es voller neuer Eindr\u00fccke zur\u00fcck zum Resort vorbei an den vertrauten Inseln des
