In einem wasserfesten Beh\u00e4ltnis)<br \/>\n<strong>Mindestanzahl Teilnehmer<\/strong>: 4<\/p>\n<p>Batanta ist einer der \u201c4 K\u00f6nige\u201d, also der 4 gro\u00dfen Hauptinseln Raja Ampats. Die Insel hat eine gewundene Form und besteht aus zahllosen kleinen Buchten ges\u00e4umt von unber\u00fchrten Mangrovenw\u00e4ldern. An Land ist die Insel bedeckt mit nebeligen Bergh\u00f6hen &#8211; \u201ebekleidet\u201c durch \u00fcppige Papuanische Regenw\u00e4lder.<\/p>\n<p>Zun\u00e4chst machen wir aber Halt vor der kleinen Insel Wai, einer klassisch-paradisischen Insel mit wei\u00dfem Sandstrand, Palmen und Regenwald. Das s\u00fcdliche Saumriff der Insel Wai bietet letzte Ruhest\u00e4tte f\u00fcr ein Flugzeug, Modell P47, der U.S. Airforce aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg. Insgesamt st\u00fcrzten hier 5 dieser Flieger aufgrund schlechter Wetterverh\u00e4ltnisse vor vielen Jahren ins Meer. Die Besatzungen \u00fcberlebten, da sie sich auf die Inseln Wai retten konnten und sp\u00e4ter geborgen wurden. Wir k\u00f6nnen die P47 Maschine, die in 28 Metern Tiefe liegt, betauchen. Das Wrack ist gut erhalten und komplett mit Korallen bedeckt. Solch ein Flugzeugwrack ist schon etwas einzigartiges. Aber auch sonst gibt es an dem Saumriff der Insel Wai einiges nettes Getier zu entdecken.<\/p>\n<p>Sp\u00e4ter fahren wir weiter Richtung Batanta. Dort angekommen schl\u00e4ngeln wir uns per Boot durch den dichten Mangrovenbewuchs und parken an einem kleinen Steg. Dann beginnen wir am Ufer entlang flussaufw\u00e4rts zu wandern \u2013 hier k\u00f6nnen Sie schillernde Libellen und Schmetterlinge fotografieren.<\/p>\n<p>Nach nur 10 Minuten erreichen wir den ersten Wasserfall, der, von hohen B\u00e4umen umgeben, einen wunderbaren Platz f\u00fcr Fotos darstellt. Danach geht es weiter den Fluss hinauf. Wir wechseln mehrmals die Flussseite dank den gro\u00dfen Felsen \u00fcber die wir zum anderen Ufer gelangen. Es geht durch den wundersch\u00f6nen Regenwald Batantas mit teilweise jahrhunderte alten B\u00e4umen. Wir k\u00f6nnen den Ruf verschiedener Vogelarten von den Spitzen der B\u00e4ume h\u00f6ren. Das Wasser des Bachs ist glasklar und wir entdecken Flusskrebse die sich im Schatten tummeln.<\/p>\n<p>Nach der insgesamt etwa einst\u00fcndigen Wanderung gelangen wir zum etwa 80 Meter hohen Wasserfall. Es gibt endlose M\u00f6glichkeiten zum Fotografieren hier. Der Wasserfall hat auch einen vorgelagerten Teich mit k\u00fchlem unber\u00fchrten Wasser, wo Sie sich abk\u00fchlen und schwimmen k\u00f6nnen. Sie k\u00f6nnen sogar bis hinter den Wasserfall schwimmen zu einer Einh\u00f6hlung im Fels, in der Sie sitzen und entspannen
