If you are an Indonesian citizen or expat living in Indonesia – we’ve got some exciting news for you:

Papua Explorers and Raja Ampat have RE-OPENED for domestic tourism!

At Papua Explorers we can’t wait to welcome you, and we have been preparing for this all along!

You probably have been through some hardship, but now is the time to treat yourself, look forward, enjoy life and especially reconnect to nature! This will be your chance to experience an amazing diving or snorkeling trip in paradise with a low number of tourists.

Please contact us to learn more about our special domestic offers.
We look forward to your email!

What will you need?

For traveling to Raja Ampat from within Indonesia, please prepare the following things:

1. A health certificate showing a negative COVID test result, in order to board domestic flights. In most cases, a rapid or swab test undertaken not longer than 14 days prior to travel is required. Please check the respective airline websites for more details.

2. Install the Indonesian Health Ministry Health Alert Card app on your mobile phone and complete your details. You will need this app installed for all domestic travel.
You can download the app here.

3. Register yourself on the Raja Ampat tourism department online registration form. You will be asked to provide your personal information, your travel plan and to attach your negative COVID test result.
You can register here.

Good to know

Papua Explorers, as well as local Raja Ampat authorities and other operators are working hard to ensure your health and safety in Raja Ampat. Please have a look at our article here.

You can rest assured that we are implementing the health protocols as recommended by WHO, DAN, PADI and other reputable organizations to ensure your safety and well-being. Not only while staying with us, but also on the way to the resort and back, as well as at the spectacular tourist destinations and dive sites.

To our dear friends who are living outside of Indonesia, please stay tuned. We hope that we will be able to welcome again very soon, too!

All of you, stay safe and healthy, always!
